Miyazato wins Safeway Classic

Miyazato and Kerr competed for much of Sunday’s back nine with neither golfer able to pull away, until the 18th hole. Kerr, playing in the group ahead of Miyazato, put her approach shot in the water to the right of the green. Kerr was able to recover and score a bogey, but Miyazato parred the hole to secure the win.
