(GLADSTONE, NJ) JAN. 19-Over 400 volunteers are needed for The Sybase Match Play Championship, taking place May 14 – May 20, 2012 at Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ.
“Volunteers are a crucial part of our Tournament. We can’t put the event on without them,” said Harry Hardy, The Sybase Match Play Championship Tournament Director. “Volunteering is a great way for golf fans to get a behind-the-scenes look at the Tournament and a first row seat to some of the best golf the world has to offer.”
Volunteering can be a great way to experience golf, connect with people in the community and meet new people. There are a number of different committees that satisfy a variety of interests, including: Golf Channel support, player services, walking scorers, standard bearers and hole captains. Training will be provided for committees requiring specific knowledge.
