SOMERSET MEDICAL CENTER VISIT

Steeplechase Cancer Center

LPGA tour players Song-Hee Kim, Belen Mozo, Sun Young Yoo visited the Steeplechase Cancer Center during the 2011 Sybase Match Play Championship. The ladies had the opportunity to choose a ribbon that represents a specific cancer that resonated with them and placed it on a wall with other ribbons from family members of cancer patients. The players also participated in a yoga class with cancer survivors.

LPGA players will again visit the Somerset Medical Center in 2012 on Tuesday, May 15.

Proceeds raised from this year’s Sybase Match Play Championship will be donated to Somerset Medical Center (SMC), the only hospital located in Somerville, NJ.
